School Football Teams

On Tuesday 11th February, for the afternoon the school arranged a trip to the Technical Football Centre in Bournemouth, 11 boys from the school football team were picked to represent the school and have the opportunity to enhance their skills which challenged them in the following areas, technically, physically and psychologically. All 11 boys were superb on the day showing great attitude, determination and effort. The coaches at the centre praised the boys throughout and all were rewarded for their hard work with a loyalty card.
The Yr 5&6 girls football team travelled to Bishop Aldhelms on Friday for their first match of the new year. The team had an encouraging pep talk from captain Evie and a fantastic game was played by all. Heatherlands went on to win 5-0. Thank you Bishop Aldhelms for hosting the match.
