Part of Coastal Learning Partnership
Six children from Years 2 and 3 were invited to attend the Coastal Learning Partnership (CLP) Sports Festival at Oakdale, joining pupils from the other 16 schools across the partnership for an exciting morning of sport and physical activity.
The children had the opportunity to try a range of different sports, including handball, dance, archery, tri-golf and frisbee. These activities encouraged them to develop new skills, build confidence and experience sports that many had not taken part in before.
We were incredibly proud of how our pupils represented Heatherlands throughout the event. Their behaviour was exemplary, and they showed a fantastic attitude by embracing every challenge with enthusiasm and determination. Additionally, we had a surprise visit from the Mayor who awarded a badge to one of our children for excellent motivation and sportsmanship!
