'Crazy Creatures' Knowledge Organiser

This week in EYFS it has been filled with festive fun and fantastic learning opportunities! The children have been getting into the Christmas spirit while exploring numbers, creativity, and teamwork. Our elf friend has been keeping everyone busy with some exciting counting challenges. The children worked brilliantly to help the elf find the correct amounts of different objects, practising their number recognition and counting skills along the way. Outdoors, the class worked together to create a beautiful collaborative Christmas wreath. It has been lovely to see the children sharing ideas, working as a team, and taking pride in their creation. They have also enjoyed chopping vegetables to make their very own reindeer soup! This activity was a wonderful way to develop fine motor skills while engaging in imaginative play. We also got crafty indoors. The children made colourful paper chains and designed their own wreaths using tissue paper, pompoms, and plenty of sequins. What a joyful and creative week it has been—full of sparkle, teamwork, and festive learning! We can't wait to see what next week brings.

Early Years space themed home learning projects

This week in Early Years we have something very special in our Curiosity Cubes. The poppy is a symbol — that means it stands for something special. We have learnt that people wear poppies to help us remember people who were brave and helped to keep us safe.
