Spelling Initiatives & Incentives
Sami is used to help children write words that have been incorrectly spelt.
At Heatherlands, we want children to consistently spell tricky words correctly in their writing.
Tricky words that are spelt incorrectly will be identified within the children's writing.
The children will then practice writing these 3 times in their 'have a go' book. these books are kept in their drawers for easy reference when they next go to spell the word.
Spelling prizes will be given to children who are applying their tricky words spellings correctly in their writing.
