Kate Greenaway Award

Some Year 3 children are working on an exciting reading project with the Poole Library Service. Between now and June, they will be reading and reviewing a selection of high quality picture books, and their opinions will be used to decide the winner of the prestigious Kate Greenaway Award for best picture book. Lucy Lumber, who works at Poole library, visited and read with the children this week, to start the process off. The children really enjoyed the books that they tried and offered lots of interesting reactions and opinions to the texts.
