Last week, we sent home some seeds and pots for the children to start growing a plant for their Science experiments. We hope that this has encouraged you to talk to the children about Science and where our food comes from. This is a great opportunity for children to learn the parts of plants and notice how they change over time. You could also try growing some fruit or vegetables from seeds left over from cooking such as: peppers, tomatoes or strawberries. There are also two other competitions that the children can take part in should they want to. The deadline for all entries is Sunday 20th June 2021 at midnight and they need to be submitted to the following email address. wideningaccess@aecc.ac.uk AECC Bournemouth have also donated some books for the book corners to help this learning.

Win signed AFC Bournemouth shirts or a kit bag by designing a football strip using the template given. Children can complete and submit their entries from home but they will be entering on behalf of the school. Entries should be scanned or photographed and sent via email to marketing@afcb.co.uk. The closing date for entries is 6pm on Sunday 14th February 2021.
