Spelling Initiatives & Incentives

Sami is used to help children write words that have been incorrectly spelt.

At Heatherlands, we want children to consistently spell tricky words correctly in their writing.

Tricky words are added to the spelling bookmarks which are tagged into their spelling journals, so children can embed the correct spelling of these words in their writing. Teachers will tick the stars when they see the words correctly spelt 3 times. Prizes will be given for different stages of achievement.
